RNA has become more widely known recently due to COVID-19, but researchers have only barely scratched the surface of understanding what RNA is capable of. Pregnant and lactating populations have historically been excluded from clinical research due to concerns about legal liability, causing many women and their health care providers to make decisions regarding the use of medications without proper data.
