Putting the finishing touches on Aspire at Church Street in Norfolk. It's been a 1.5 year journey and now a mad dash to completion. The mayor has dubbed this the gateway to downtown, and riding down Brambleton Ave or Church Street, it is quite striking (if I do say so myself). 85 units of mixed income apartments with a gym, computer room, art room and club room. This marks the first collaboration between The Richman Group and Breeden Construction and we couldn't be more proud of the product.

Congratulations to Weingart Center Association and Chelsea Investment Corporation on the grand opening of Weingart Towers 1, the largest homeless housing project in Los Angeles history! This historic project, located in the heart of the Skid Row District, is poised to be a valuable asset to the community. Weingart Towers 1 is a new construction project featuring 278 units housed in a 19-story building. These units are specifically designed to provide safe, secure, and dignified housing for unsheltered individuals. The community includes 228 studio apartments and 50 one-bedroom apartments, with three units designated for onsite managers. Notably, 40 units are reserved for veterans. Each apartment is fully furnished and features a full kitchen, private bathroom, heating, and air conditioning. Weingart Towers 1 features amenities like a fitness room, computer lab, career center, library, bicycle storage, laundry facilities, terraces with community gardens, and nearby Metro access. Residents benefit from case management, healthcare, substance use services, educational and employment support, life skills training, and social activities. Local partnerships provide additional medical, dental, vision, and legal services. By offering a stable living environment and access to essential services, Weingart Towers 1 aims to empower its residents and provide a place they can call home. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: •Review quarterly Financial Statements to analyze financial performance •Review annual budgets, audited financial statements, and tax returns •Perform annual property reviews and site inspections •Facilitate periodic investor reporting •Review and update investor benefit projections •Monitor development construction and lease-up timelines of developments •Basic accounting and tracking •Establishment and maintenance of project files and databases •Various special projects •Support Asset Management staff Application Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from accredited university, with a concentration in Real Estate Finance or Business with courses in real estate (3.0+ GPA) Fluency in Microsoft Suite; proficient in Excel and Word Strong analytical skills and financial acumen Excellent organizational and communication skills Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Must be detail oriented and self-motivated Ability to work independently Able to meet tight deadlines in time sensitive situations while maintaining a professional demeanor Flexible to work extra hours as needed Other Qualifications Up to 40% nationwide travel

Brinshore Development, LLC, Housing Authority of Kansas City MO (HAKC), and Sam Rodgers Health (SURHC) recently celebrated milestone achievements in the Historic Northeast’s Independence Plaza neighborhood with the groundbreaking of the new pediatric wing at Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, the grand openings of Sam Rodgers Place and Propeller Building, all located on Samuel U. Rodgers Healthy Living Campus. In 2015 HAKC, the City of Kansas City, MO, Brinshore Development, United Way of Greater Kansas City, SURHC and Northeast community groups joined forces to obtain a $30 million Choice Neighborhoods Grant from U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Paseo Gateway District. Grant funds plus matching local investment resulted in public improvements, supportive services for residents, and seven new mixed-income apartment sites totaling 308 units to replace the former Chouteau Court.  Prior phases included the rehabilitation of Pendleton Flats and new developments Rose Hill, Quinlan Place, Quinlan Row, Pendleton ArtsBlock and Brookwood at Antioch, respectively. The new Sam Rodgers Place - on the Sam Rodgers Campus consists of 62 walkup apartments, townhomes and flats, with modern amenities and off-street parking. The new Propeller Building on the Campus will be owned and operated by SURHC. It is a 4,300 square foot supportive services center and community event space. It will provide expanded services to residents of Sam Rodgers Place and the surrounding community in a manner consistent with the history and mission of SURHC. Completion of the Propeller Building marks the successful conclusion of the Paseo Gateway Choice Neighborhoods program. Sam Rodgers Place and Propeller Building are designed by Rosemann & Associates and Moody Nolan. Taliaferro & Browne, Inc., Inc, is the civil engineer and surveyor, Vireo is the landscape architect, and Straub Construction serves as the general contractor. The gala was held in Santa Fe Springs, CA where our design team is collaborating on The Whole Child’s Interim Housing and Supportive Services Center for Families and Children. The transformational campus consists of three communities including The Whole Child interim housing with 40 units, 102 rental apartments by The Richman Group, and 18 for-sale townhomes by Habitat for Humanity.
