Please join us for the Fashion Dash Grand Prix event (formerly Wings & Wheels of Wings for Success) on Friday, October 18th from 5pm-8pm in partnership with Porsche of The Main Line. This event will take place on the upper level of the parking garage at The Exton Sq. Mall in Exton, PA 19341. The Exton Wardrobe (located in The Exton Sq. Mall) will also be open for shopping and will feature a Designer Pop-Up with items marked down from 70% -90% off their original price! Tickets to this event are just $75 and directly support the mission and programming of The Wardrobe (which merged with Wings for Success in 2024). We wanted to give a special thank you to Vineet, who volunteered weekly at The Wardrobe in Exton this summer! Vineet is a college student at Syracuse, majoring in Fashion Merchandising. He is now back in school for his senior year and we miss his enthusiasm! On his last day with us, he helped put together a Wardrobe Box and had a blast! Four times a year, our staff come together to learn new skills that we can apply to our direct services + programming. At this in-service at The Exton Wardrobe, we learned all about seasonal fabrics and how to best advise our guests on which fabrics are suitable for them according to their unique needs. We also learned fundraising techniques and finished off the day with a serious bowling competition. We firmly believe in shared learning experiences for our staff so we can provide the best for our guests! Thank you to our supporters for their flexibility around our hours this week!

After trying on this amazing outfit at our Wardrobe in Philly, James felt so confident in his attire that he took an interview right in the fitting room! Turns out his interview was for a job canvassing for Kamala Harris. And guess what?! He got the job right on the spot!! We're so happy for him! James had this to say about his Wardrobe experience: "The Wardrobe has completely helped me. My experience here was great. The team here helped me pick out my attire which was great because I had a job interview over zoom. I also got the job!"

Thank you to ProjectW for helping us fill and pack Wardrobe Boxes at our Exton location! Project W consists of women who live in and around Delaware County. They possess a deep commitment to helping their community and they chose The Wardrobe for their evening of service. We thank them for making an impact by giving us their time and resources, and we look forward to having them back again. Each year, we send over 1200 Wardrobe Boxes to those who can not come to our stores, so this was a huge help toward achieving that goal!!!

Become a volunteer with The Wardrobe! We have several different ways for you to assist with our mission, and we offer monthly volunteer trainings over Zoom for those looking to do so. In addition to our program/inventory monthly trainings, we have now officially re-launched The Wings for Success Education & Coaching program! As an E&C volunteer, you will regularly volunteer to work one-on-one with guests and guide them towards a path of stability and independence. We are so excited to offer this program as part of our merge with Wings for Success. Volunteers are needed at all 4 Wardrobe locations. Flexible scheduling + great benefits! The Wardrobe is now accepting donations for fall/winter! We accept clothes, accessories, shoes, and toiletries for all genders, sizes, and styles but have an urgent need for plus size womenswear and menswear in XS/Small & XL+ sizes. Clothing donations are accepted at all Wardrobe stores Monday – Saturday from 11am-6pm. For our locations and full donation guidelines: https://lnkd.in/eSM23mcG We accept all clothing in all conditions, but please be sure everything is freshly cleaned or laundered. We ask that donations be packaged in some way (i.e. bags, boxes) and are removed from hangers and dry cleaning bags. Personal care items (skincare, toiletries, undergarments) are always welcomed but must be new and unused. Thank you for donating with The Wardrobe and helping someone shine!
