Anthropologist | Ideator | Leader | Intrapreneur | Ecosystem Builder

There is nothing better than a place, the Wond'ry, where you can innovate, regardless of your age, status, position, nationality, leaving the evidence to prove whether your innovation is viable. Well, if there is anything better than that, it is the group of people surrounding you, who always advocate for you and give you creative confidence. That is how I became an ecosystem builder at the Wond'ry, the Center for Innovation at Vanderbilt University. The Wond'ry serves all students, staff, faculty, and alumni from any higher education institution in Greater Nashville. As an ecosystem builder at the Wond'ry, I connect with potential mentors, collaborators, and allies, as well as innovators, industrial companies, and campus organizations we serve. I’ve pitched ideas to enhance this ecosystem, including a new student involvement channel, improved user experience for our database, and leading the mentorship conversations. My key takeaway? Learning to present my organization in a way that aligns with the audience's interests, so they join us willingly—demonstrating the power of enchantment, or simply, effective sales. In my next chapter, I will rebuild the Global Shapers Community at the Nashville Hub with my partner, Mengyang He, continuing the great work led by Daniel Kang. It will be a platform to empower innovators who aspire to create social impacts and bring their impact to the international stage. We are currently looking for three other young innovators (18-27 years old) who want to join us, as the founding team. Please connect with me if you are interested or know someone who is a good fit! A special thank you to my director and mentor, Yesenia Sevilla, who believes in my willpower to become an ecosystem builder and encourage me to own the room, being confident and comfortable. Also shout out to Carrie Owen, my wonderful co-worker. The best team. My innovation journey does not stop here; it’s just accelerating. I am still an ecosystem builder. Please let me know how I can help you!
