T&M USA congratulates our CEO and Chairman, Robert S. Tucker, on his appointment today as the 35th Fire Commissioner of the City of New York. "I can think of no higher calling than serving as the Fire Commissioner for the City of New York,” stated Commissioner Tucker after he was sworn in today by Mayor Eric Adams at the New York City Fire Academy. His appointment to the FDNY is also a return to public service for Commissioner Tucker, a New York City resident, who began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney and Special Advisor to the Late Judge Richard A. Brown, District Attorney of Queens County. Pursuant to New York City laws and regulations, Commissioner Tucker resigned from his role as T&M’s CEO and Chairman today and appointed Michael J. Mansfield as President of the firm. Commissioner Tucker also appointed his General Counsel, Meryl A. Lutsky, as Executive Vice President overseeing all Divisions of the firm. T&M USA was pleased to participate in the 2023 Association of Inspectors General Annual Training Conference held at the New Yorker Hotel in New York City from August 4-6. T&M’s Martin Gleeson, Julie Schwartz, and James Liander joined with members of the Office of the Indiana Inspector General to share their expertise in a panel discussion, “Parallel Investigations: Maximizing Multiple Investigations to Hold Employees Accountable.” T&M USA personnel took the opportunity to meet with colleagues from around the world and share information about investigating, deterring, and monitoring fraud, waste, abuse, official misconduct and violations of law.
