America can only fulfill the promise of making education a great equalizer if our shared destination is a future in which no variable – not race, not zip code, not socioeconomic status – limits opportunities for young people. Right now, the circumstances that a young person is born into too often predict the options they will have in their adult lives. That’s why as a nation, we must ask ourselves: ☑️ How can we better prepare young people to navigate a dynamic world and workforce? ☑️ What will it take for education to deliver on its promise of economic and social mobility for all? ☑️ What experiences and opportunities across sectors will prepare young people to thrive in life? In our latest report, we explore how high school experiences shape economic and social mobility in adulthood. Here’s what we found: https://ow.ly/P1IA50STlj0 #PathsOfOpportunity #EveryGenerationThrives

📚🌍 Yesterday was #InternationalLiteracyDay, a day to remind us that literacy is more than just a skill—it’s the foundation for a better world. It calls on parents, educators, and policymakers alike to recognize that literacy is a fundamental human right. It’s the bedrock for acquiring the knowledge, skills, and values that build a culture of lasting peace, grounded in equality and justice. UNESCO’s theme for this year is, “Promoting Multilingual Education: Literacy for Mutual Understanding and Peace,” which emphasizes the critical role of inclusive, multilingual education in bridging divides and fostering mutual respect. With 765 million adults still lacking basic literacy skills, the need for action is urgent. Now is the time to come together to champion literacy for all, in every language, so that everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
