Towne has been a WNY family-owned automotive establishment since 1969. Our first dealership, Towne Lincoln-Mercury, was started by Frank Downing in June 1969 in a small strip plaza in Orchard Park. Over the years we have had the opportunity to expand our franchise portfolio to eight franchises including Ford, Chevy, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM, Buick, Mazda and Hyundai. We also added a Quick Lane Service Department for no appointment service needs.

These folks spent 2 years on completing this training and Towne couldn’t be any luckier to have them apart of our team. Congratulations Josh, Andrew and Greg! 🎓 and a special thank you to Jeremy Clark and Pat O’Connor, our service managers at Towne 👏🤩😎 ✨ About the Ford ASSET Program ✨ The Ford automotive technician training program will offer students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of automotive repair, focusing on Ford vehicles. This program provides factory training to students in partnership with Ford Motor Company. Gwinnett Tech’s Ford ASSET program works directly with Ford Motor Company to provide our students with learning fundamentals in the classroom, as well as hands-on factory training. As a result, graduates of our program have a solid foundation with exposure to the latest technology and entry-level access to Ford vehicles.

Major congratulations are in order to 2024 Distinguished Citizen Award winner Gene Vukelic! It’s an honor to attend and support WNY Scout Council and The Distinguished Citizen Award. This award is presented to individual community leaders who provide outstanding civic service to the community. We couldn’t agree more that Eugene Vukelic is more than worthy of such recognition. Our President Frank Downing , 2023 Distinguished Citizen Awardee, had the opportunity to hand the award to Eugene. What a great honor and privilege! Cheers to “having the courage to fail forward” and the Downing family & Towne looking are forward to next year!
