As school starts back, Tractor Supply Company is excited to announce the second class of FFA Future Leaders Scholarship recipients. A total of 143 students studying ag-related fields or attending trade school are being recognized with this honor. Together with National FFA Organization, the Tractor Supply Foundation established the scholarship in 2022 with a $5 million commitment over five years, making it the largest agriculture scholarship fund of its kind. Today we announced our second quarter 2024 financial results. Tractor Supply Company saw net sales growth of 1.5%, offset by a 0.5% decline in comparable store sales. Other highlights include: •             Strong big ticket growth, offset by softness in our year-round discretionary categories and consumable, usable and edible categories.  •             All-time high customer service scores. •             A record 36 million members in Neighbor’s Club. •             Ongoing market share gains.   In addition, our Hometown Heroes program is off to a great start thanks to our store teams, and we celebrated the grand opening of our 10th and largest distribution center in Maumelle, Arkansas.   Across our stores, distribution centers and the Store Support Center, we have an amazing team. Tractor Supply Company and the Tractor Supply Foundation are proud to donate $100,000 to the Farmer Veteran Coalition Fellowship Fund. America's farm families represent only two percent of the population and feed the other 98 percent through the fruits of their labor. Many are veterans who have served our country, and are now farming in rural areas across America. Tractor Supply’s donation aids FVC in providing micro grants to veterans who are in their beginning years of farming or ranching. Funds are used for materials that will support the success of their farming pursuits. This past weekend, Tractor Supply Company teamed up with First Lady of Tennessee Maria Lee, the Tennessee Titans, Cleary Construction Inc. and KABOOM! to build a playground in Clay County, Tennessee. It was a labor of love for volunteers from 7 of our stores and our Franklin, KY distribution center, who worked alongside the Clay County High School FFA Chapter (National FFA Organization) and neighbors from surrounding communities. Tractor Supply Company has partnered with National 4-H Council since 2010, and one of our biggest programs is our twice-a-year Paper Clover fundraiser. In total, the fundraiser has raised more than $22 million for 4-H youth across the country over those 14 years! And we’re delighted to share that our Spring Paper Clover raised nearly $1.4 million.
