This confidential organization embarked on a discovery with their architectural team at Progessive AE to help reimagine the workplace, offering agile and flexible amenity spaces. We worked closely with the team to help support the findings with furniture solutions for a diverse array of spaces. This room happens to be one of our favorites. The moodiness is a visual contract against the crisp, clean white of the surrounding environment. The room feels like a home away from home, with comfortable and beautiful furniture to support respite, relaxation, informal meetings and breakout work. Remember when everyone thought that a coffee area would bring people back into the office? Well sure, that is nice, but spaces like this, are one of the reasons people want to be at work. Both Rohde Easy Chair and Rohde Paldao Table are pulled from designs in the @hermanmiller archives and feel as relevant today as they did more than 80 years ago.

If you’ve known Abby or worked with Abby, I’m sure you’d be happy to hear that she has accepted the role of Key Account Designer. In this role, Abby will take on the day to day responsibilities of one of our leading accounts, in addition to being a key part of the design team, working on a wide variety of projects. While being part of a world class drumline brought her to West Michigan, she’s now ready to make a BANG as our newest Account Manager. It’s too bad we missed playing Mr. Blue Sky by ELO, as apparently that would be her vibe song when entering a room. Its’s also too bad is that we did not know Stephanie as a kid and young adult. We can only imagine the thin eyebrows she lovingly wore while modeling prom dresses in the mall. And then going back home to play with Pogs while watching Waterworld all while dreaming of being a veterinarian or physics teacher. Her love of math, degree in Interior Design and wanting to be hands on, is going to make her a force to be reckoned with in her current role. Happy to have Stephanie join the TRELLIS team!

Why does summer go by so quick, but winter lingers on? We have to take advantage of every nice day and every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.
