There was so much to be thankful for yesterday, as I got to stand in front of five young men and tell them that they completed the first ever Achieve Green program! This program has been almost 3 years in the making and without their commitment it would never have happened. Five started and five finished, and anyone in workforce development can tell you, that's already an incredible story that is on its own right. They now begin their journeys in the Glazing profession and will have the opportunities to change their lives and the ones they love and this is at the core of what we are doing. I am not just proud of the young men in the program, but all our partners who stepped up and doing whatever it took to remove hurdles and add value to our program. Thank you Browning the Green Space IUPAT District Council 35 and Boston Day and Evening Academy for the unbelievable show of support yesterday as well as the entire last year. We spent two productive days in Cleveland with CHUH, Youth Opportunities Unlimited, Tremco CPG Inc., Greater Cleveland Career Consortium representatives, laying out the blueprint for the Rising Stars Program at Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District High School this fall. From exploring Tremco's test wall to a school tour, we're all in for an impactful collaboration.
