🧲 We have an exciting update! 🧲 We've been awarded a 2024 INFUSE grant to accelerate our fusion technology with the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, MagLab. This collaborative research will focus on enhancing high-temperature superconducting (HTS) cables, crucial for building compact and efficient fusion stellarators. Type One was the only stellarator company selected to receive a portion of this year's $4.6 million in INFUSE funding. Zachary Johnson, our HTS Technology Manager, and the project’s principal investigator said that the award “enables us to deepen our engagement with global leaders in magnet technology and to refine our approach to the high-temperature superconductors that are foundational to our mission." Our CEO, Chris Mowry, and Sr. Vice President of Marketing and External Affairs, Matt Miles, visited the Clinton Utilities Board today, where they met with General Manager Greg Fay and Assistant General Manager Todd Loggins. Fay and Loggins offered a tour of their state-of-the-art operations center, where they provide the highest level of service through system reliability. “Chris and I are grateful for the time that Greg, Todd, and the rest of their team spent with us at the Clinton Utilities Board.
