UF Health Jacksonville welcomes Dalita Davis, DNP, MBA, NEA-BC, NPD-BC, CNRN, SCRN, as our new Associate Vice President of Nursing for UF Health North. Davis has 15 years of extensive experience, most recently serving as Executive Director of Nursing for the Wellstar Health System in Atlanta. While there, she led the Burn, Wound, and Hyperbaric Treatment Center, Critical Care, Trauma, and Burn service line for adults and pediatrics. Let’s give her a big UF welcome!

Congratulations to the Downtown Emergency Department on receiving the 2024-2027 Lantern Award from the Emergency Nurses Association. This award recognizes recipients for their exceptional and innovative performance in leadership, practice, education, advocacy and research. This ENA Award for Excellence focuses on evidence-based practice and innovation in emergency care and the commitment to quality, safety and creating a healthy work environment. The Emergency Department also won the 2020-2023 Lantern Award.
