No better feeling than when our customers recognize our teams! The Unifi crew at Lihue Airport won Alaska Airlines Station of the Quarter award and, naturally, celebrated with a Luau. These awards reflect the dedication and hard work with which our teams deliver above-and-beyond service for our partners and customers. Mahalo to everyone who helped secure this win!

I had a great time visiting Unifi’s shared services partner, AMH Services in India recently. It’s always a pleasure to connect in-person with our support teams there, but this time I was joined by Chief Operating Officer, Greg Kennedy on his first visit. The AMH team treated us to a festive welcome and we held working sessions on key areas of the business. We saw firsthand how AMH contributes to our day-to-day operations, and we were able to give their employees feedback on how the work they do is having a direct impact in uplifting our frontline workforce.     Our frontline teams are the best there is, and one of the reasons they can stay laser-focused on delivering for our customers at airports every day is thanks to our AMH partners. They work across all functions from our technology teams to HR, legal, finance, and more. A huge thank you to everyone at AMH for making us feel so welcome, giving Greg a small taste of Indian hospitality and warmth, and of course the critical work they do every day for Unifi. 

Our Up & Away team welcomed its newest station manager, Antony Stocker who will oversee operations for four of customers - KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Air France, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, and TUI! We're excited to have you join the Up & Away Unifi family, Antony!

Nothing makes me happier than connecting with our frontline, and over the past year I’ve been traveling to our stations around the country with a small team of operations leaders for Unifi After Dark. It’s one of our signature programs on the Operations team – overnight renovations of employee breakrooms.   The team shows up at night with cleaning supplies, paint, new furniture and gives the rooms a complete makeover by morning. Seeing the faces of our agents when they walk into a new space, where they can take a break, share meals, and recharge, has been incredibly rewarding – personally and professionally. Unifi After Dark is our values – passion, integrity and empathy – in action.

More than 30 years in the business, and we are so lucky to have Barry Crane as an Operations Manager on our Up & Away Aviation Services team in Birmingham. Barry is celebrating 3 years with Up & Away as our resident de-icing expert!

The vibes are running high at our Gainesville Regional Airport station as the team won back to back title of Delta Air Lines Airline Station of The Month for the months of May and June. Kudos for this amazing milestone, and delivering excellence with consistency. Cheers!
