It’s been a busy summer at Valentine, which is nothing new for our sole milestone anniversary of the season–Primitivo Cabrera. This past May, Primitivo celebrated 20 years as part of the VEI team! An incredible accomplishment, we are grateful for his dedication to consistent quality.

We had a good turnout of volunteers for StreetWise Georgia's annual back to school event. Always happy for the opportunity to give back, VEI and TRC Talent Solutions employees assisted with check-ins, checkout, traffic control, and restocking supplies. Some of our volunteers also served as personal shopper assistants for StreetWise clients. Especially helpful were our employees who speak Spanish. They were able to assist those clients with their selection of school supplies and clothing. Our volunteers were quick to assist StreetWise clients in every area throughout the evening. We’re celebrating some milestones among the Valentine team! Celebrating 5 years strong, Shannon Menz, Mirian Thomas, Benie Tshibola, Angel Ventura, Kyle Schuster, and Francisca Lopez joined us for some cupcakes. Badjoh Besse, Alba Martinez, Jamey Remus, and McCoy Simms celebrated a remarkable decade of dedication with us, as well. Here's to your incredible contributions and continued success 🏅

We had a great time celebrating the Fourth of July New York style last week thanks to Robert Fuhr Consulting. A favorite holiday of ours here in Gwinnett County Georgia, having a taste of a classic NYC celebration was a special treat before we closed for the long holiday weekend. We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend no matter how you celebrated our nation’s independence!

Cheers to a Productive Q2! ☕️ Valentine and TRC Talent Solutions are feeling grateful for our amazing teams this quarter! To celebrate their hard work and dedication in #Q2, we treated them to a visit from TradeWind Coffee Co.'s Coffee Cruiser last week. With perfect weather, everyone was able to enjoy a refreshing break and a delicious drink of their choice. It was a great way to recharge, connect with coworkers, and show our appreciation for their continued efforts.

Valentine volunteers celebrated spring’s arrival with our 1st Adopt a Road event of 2024 🛣 Gathering over 10 large trash bags and just as many illegal signs, we’re making Gwinnett county a more beautiful community to be a part of. Thank you to the team members who spent their Friday afternoon together under the sun and out in the community. January marked the start of the year and a milestone of five years at Valentine for Shannon Menz. Shannon enjoys getting team members up to speed with procedures and processes at Valentine. Taking the mentality of a competitive rowing crew , she sees the importance of everyone working in harmony to move the boat forward. She takes joy in creating and fostering this synchronization amongst her teammates. You can catch her doing deepthink work with classical music for focus or promoting the supportive workplace culture that make VEI so special.

Our founder’s legacy of serving others locally lives on. This past weekend, multi-generations including his daughter, grandkids and great-grandkids joined StreetWise Georgia to give back to the community Valentine employees live and work in. We are so grateful and proud to be committed to the Gwinnett County and greater Metro Atlanta area community.
