Our students triumphed in April 2024, and it was nothing short of a miracle! 9 of our visually challenged students from our Netra Vidyalaya School in Vizag, India went from being introduced to robotics to winning the champion award at the FLL competition in Goa, India during their very first year competing!! But they didn't just stop there, the robotics team "Thought Notch Robotica" traveled to the FIRST Robotics Championship in Houston, TX on April 19th, 2024 and gave a presentation on an international stage, "Breaking Barriers: A Robotic Triumph of the Vision-Impaired". This was truly an extraordinary moment in their journey and a massive achievement for our organization. These students persevered against all odds—it's a powerful narrative of unwavering determination, fiery passion, and diligent work. It stands as vibrant proof that with perseverance, the impossible becomes possible. This success is also a tribute to the countless donors whose love and generosity have provided unwavering support. Each of these children has emerged from challenging backgrounds, carrying stories potent enough to soften the hardest of hearts. Today, we don't just celebrate the triumph of these young champions; we celebrate the victory of every donor who has selflessly rooted for them. Together, we've turned aspirations into reality. They dreamt it- and they made it! We're beaming with pride and know this is just the beginning of many more achievements to come!!! The National Women’s History Month’s theme for 2024 celebrates “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.” The theme recognizes women throughout the country who understand that, for a positive future. "Inspirational women have shaped our world." More than half of the VT Seva team members are women, and these women serve in various roles helping to fulfill our mission of being compassionate leaders and serving our communities.   VT Seva is recognizing women serving across the branches in honor of Women's History Month. We hope you enjoy watching the video & their messages to know how some of our women leaders advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. In the remote village in Vizag, nestled in the heart of India, a group of visually challenged children dared to dream. These children, students at a school run by a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization (www.vtsworld.org), harbored an unwavering passion for technology and a burning desire to compete in the world of robotics. The school, dedicated to empowering visually challenged children, is a testament to the power of community and volunteerism. Despite limited resources, the volunteers’ relentless efforts and the children’s determination have created an environment where dreams can take flight. Their journey was not without obstacles. Limited resources, lack of exposure to advanced technology, and their visual impairments were significant hurdles. However, their indomitable spirit and relentless determination turned these challenges into steppingstones towards their goal. Their hard work and perseverance paid off when they won the National Robotics Championship in India. Following their success, they received an invitation to represent India at the World Robotics Championship in the USA. This was a testament to their talent, dedication, and the potential that lies within every child, regardless of their circumstances. Please help support their journey to be on the world stage of robotics!! We're proud to announce one of our sponsors that donated 2 lakh rupees for this cause, DhaSh Group of Companies, thank you so much!!

Our Netra Vidyalaya students WON!!!! 🏆 The team, 'Thought Notch Robotica’, FLL national competition in India won the ‘Champions Award’!!! We are SO proud of them! The two-day national competition in Goa sees participation from 350 teams from all over the country. Against all odds, the Netra Vidyalaya team did exceptionally well, showcasing their innovative idea of ‘Sudoku for Visually Challenged’ and their passion for ‘Cricket for Blind’. Their performance was outstanding, and the judges praised their effort. Their project caught everyone’s attention. They presented real solutions to the problems they face as visually challenged individuals. The Sudoku idea they presented is the first of its kind for the blind. They gave it their all and did just as planned. The children, teachers, and mentors are overjoyed, all their hard work for two months has paid off. It’s not just about the win, but they gained much more - they get to see the world of robotics, they get to experience real competition, they get to stand on the national stage. #fll #visuallychallenged
