All Rise's Treatment Court Institute is hiring for the position of statewide project director. This position is responsible for coordinating and collaborating with statewide planning teams and interagency divisions to provide training for state conferences and workshops. The project director is also responsible for ensuring that activities are carried out following established specifications, schedules, and budgets; coordinating interdepartmental functions to minimize delays; and meeting with program team members regularly to review program status and plan future project deliverables. All Rise is proud to share Peer Recovery Support Specialists in Adult Drug Treatment Courts: A National Survey. Despite the growing use of Peer Recovery Support Specialists (PRSSs) in treatment courts, little is known about their qualifications, roles, or effectiveness. To address this knowledge gap, a national survey of adult drug treatment court coordinators was conducted to understand how these programs are using PRSSs and whether common structures of implementation are emerging. New Publication: Critical Issues for Defense Attorneys in Drug Courts All Rise’s Treatment Court Institute has recently updated “Critical Issues for Defense Attorneys in Drug Courts.” Originally published in 2003, this publication serves as a reference guide for current or prospective defense attorneys who practice in treatment courts; it also provides useful information to policymakers and other professionals who endeavor to design, implement, modify, or improve treatment courts in their jurisdictions. All Rise has released of the second edition of the newly renamed Adult Treatment Court Best Practice Standards. This much-anticipated second edition will be released in two parts: Standards I-VI are available now, and Standards VII-X will be released in 2024. Please note the second edition is only available for digital download. Printed copies are not available. The standards were updated by a diverse committee of treatment court practitioners, researchers, and other experts, and each revised standard was peer-reviewed by at least 15 subject-matter experts.
