The Wellstar Community Colorectal Cancer Screening Program, launched in 2021 in partnership with BLKHLTH and Cottonelle as part of the #GoodDownThere campaign, has distributed over 2,000 fecal immunochemical tests for at-home screening to high-risk communities across Georgia. Among the recipients, 53% had never been screened for colorectal cancer before, primarily due to a lack of access to screening resources. Our program has also been instrumental in providing education on the signs, symptoms and risk reduction of colorectal cancer. For more information about this and other Wellstar community partnerships, visit http://spr.ly/6047iwM1f. To learn more, call the Colorectal Cancer Alliance’s Help Line at (866) 304-9075.
