The hospital is a majority physician-owned venture of Western Reserve Hospital Partners, which represents a collaboration of more than 200 physicians, including primary care physicians, surgeons and specialists. The physicians of Western Reserve Hospital are at the forefront of leading change in the healthcare industry, with a goal that is simple: improve delivery of the highest quality healthcare services available while achieving their vision of empowering all physicians (both the primary care doctors and affiliated specialists) to drive that delivery. Today we hosted a book launch event for Dr. Gregory Hill’s memoir, 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘐𝘵 𝘈𝘭𝘭: 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘚𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦, 𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘈𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘚𝘶𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘰𝘯. Attendees included staff and providers of Western Reserve Hospital and Unity Health Network, Mayor Don Walters and City of Cuyahoga Falls City Hall officials, local library representatives, students and leaders of Buchtel Community Learning Center, and friends and family of Dr. Hill, including his wife, Judy Hill, president of Akron NAACP.
