The Union Senior Center hosted the Monday Club for the Union Township Active Retirees yesterday and allowed Cornell and Ashbrook Care and Rehab to come in and in-service our seniors on our sub-acute and long-term care buildings. We provided a presentation on our specialty programs and clinical capabilities along with breakfast. Our Korean Marketing Director, Hyewon, was a speaker at the ACWA (Asian Christian Women's Association) Senior Center Spring Commencement event. This opportunity to speak in front of our older adults was amazing! Hyewon was able to introduce Buckingham's rehab program, along with their Korean Longterm Care Unit, Mercy Gardens. Our team from Ashbrook provided a thank you lunch and learn to Fresenius Kidney Care Somerset. Ashbrook is licensed to provide peritoneal dialysis and they work with the local PD centers to provide the best possible care to their patients. The team at Fresenius was happy to tell us that even though Ashbrook isn't the closest facility to do PD, they are their preferred location.
