Loewe launched its newest global campaign. Shot by David Sims, the photographic project features Daniel Craig and Loewe’s global brand ambassador Greta Lee, posing for blunt portraits that showcase the brand’s fall 2024 collection. Craig channels a “crude” persona in photos. “The campaign is a study on how characters and their clothes are intimately related with much bravado and a confrontational stance,” the brand said in a statement. The West Village is getting a new longevity clinic. Extension Health, located at 160 Seventh Avenue South, is set to formally open on July 24, though the clinic has existed in a different format in the past and was previously known as Hudson Life. The larger company, founded by Dr. Jonathann Kuo, a board-certified pain management specialist and anesthesiologist, has two other sectors: a primary care practice Hudson Health located in TriBeCa and psychiatry services under Hudson Mind, housed in the same West Village location. Parfums Christian Dior has once again turned to a fine arts photographer for its seasonal ad campaign. Sarah Jones, known for her contemplative large-scale color photographs of subjects such as empty therapists’ couches, trained her eye on Maria Grazia Chiuri’s fall collection, which was inspired by the Miss Dior ready-to-wear line launched in 1967 at the height of the Sexual Revolution. “At the convergence of past, present and future, day and night, the pictures suggest a timeless moment, a prodigious field of possibilities. On the heels of her appointment in June as global brand ambassador for Puma, the first campaign featuring Blackpink’s Rosé will drop Wednesday. In the images shot in the streets of Seoul, the K-pop star is wearing cobalt blue and black versions of the Palermo sneakers. Relaunched in 2023, this model was originally created in the 1980s as part of a series of sneakers created as an homage to famous European metropolises and became a hit among soccer fans. The Body Shop bankruptcy drama may finally be coming to an end, with a consortium led by Auréa Group stepping forward to buy the remains of the company. On Wednesday, the joint administrators of The Body Shop International confirmed they have entered into an exclusivity agreement with Auréa and its partners, while the management team will be led by former Molton Brown chief executive officer Charles Denton. “While the deal is not yet complete, we believe the combined experience of the consortium, together with the existing management team, represents the best outcome for creditors and will ultimately ensure the long-term success of The Body Shop,” said FRP Advisory, the administrators handling the sale. In a surprise move, giant eyewear group EssilorLuxottica said Wednesday it had reached an agreement with VF Corporation to acquire the Supreme brand for $1.5 billion in cash. “We see an incredible opportunity in bringing an iconic brand like Supreme into our company,” said Francesco Milleri, chairman and CEO of EssilorLuxottica, in a statement with Paul du Saillant, deputy CEO. “It perfectly aligns with our innovation and development journey, offering us a direct connection to new audiences, languages and creativity. With its unique brand identity, fully-direct commercial approach and customer experience – a model we will work to preserve – Supreme will have its own space within our house brand portfolio and complement our licensed portfolio as well.
