A nonprofit on a mission to help girls, women, and the LGBTQ2+ community build confidence through wilderness adventure.

Über uns

Our mission is to help girls, women and LGBTQ+ people access their power and improve their health through connections to the outdoors and community. We do this by offering year-round outdoor immersions across the West. We aim to be a welcoming, safe place for people of all backgrounds and identities to explore the gifts of the wilderness. We continually seek to improve our selection of courses in order to provide opportunities to anyone who has felt that they do not fit into mainstream “outdoor culture.” Our programs are designed to be heart-centered, relational, collaborative adventures, while providing solid instruction in wilderness living, outdoor skills and back country safety. Whether you are seeking a rejuvenating week of backpacking, the skills to build your own top-rope anchor, or the determination to make a major change in your life, we hope you will join us for an unforgettable experience that will increase your wilderness skills, refresh your spirit, connect you to new friends and bring you the joy of a wilderness adventure! Women’s Wilderness is a 501 C-3 Non Profit Organization.
