☠️ DEFCON RECAP It was my first time attending DEFCON and I had an absolute blast! 🖤 TAKEAWAYS: - met friends + made new ones - stayed up till 3 am - worked w/ a group of 4 women (Kiera M. + friends) and were among the top teams at a ctf! awarded legend of zelda badge 🏆 - learned how to solder a ducky badge 🐥 - learned how to lockpick (lockpicking village) + hack doors (physical sec village) - red hack village talk on malware - social engineering village 10/10 - bug bounty village is where i saw security creators + learned from one - gained courage to talk to security creators and people around me during activities - 10,000+ steps 😂 I highly recommend participating in CTFs, the hands-on activities, and asking questions! → i learned the most from these DEFCON vlog coming soon w/ more details + tips on my youtube channel 👀 By the way, Las Vegas’s weather is not for the weak.
