The WIP is dedicated to bolstering the competitiveness of Wyoming's agriculture sector by embracing innovative technologies and advancements. One of its key initiatives involves investing in cutting-edge solutions in the ag sector, like controlled environment agriculture (CEA). CEA aims to extend growing seasons, particularly in regions facing environmental challenges. The University of Wyoming is launching a pilot class for a CEA program from May 20 through July 12. Featuring a curriculum designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge, this pilot class represents a pivotal step towards harnessing technology for agricultural progress. With a focus on propelling Wyoming's agricultural industry into the future, the program holds immense promise for sustainable growth and resilience within the sector.
