NYC Neuromodulation, graciously hosted at CUNY and expertly curated by Marom Bikson, delivered on in depth analysis and debate of the state of neuromodulation. These technologies when used expertly have transformative effects on neurological injury, mental illness, and cognitive function. Thinking about the possibilities ahead of greater choice in treatment options at a public health scale. Nick Cmager and Michael Kreienkamp represented the Brain and Memory Care Lab for all the work in neuroimging biomarkers for photobiomodulation. Akshat Kalra, Devanshi Pratiher, Olivia McConaghy, Andy Wolfe, Sally Wood. We also brought greater awareness of the impact of neurotechnology on our universal human rights. We shared the growing conceptualization of Cognitive Liberty, which emphasizes self-determination and protection of our brains from unwarranted alteration.
