Last week, YouthLink received a generous donation of 12,000 diapers from the Diaper Bank of Minnesota! These diapers will go a long way in supporting families with young children experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness. Tessa, our Family Case Manager, shared the impact of this contribution: "Each week at YouthLink we give out anywhere from 200-400 diapers to the families that visit the Drop-In. It is important to keep our diaper supply stocked so that our families are able to keep their babies and toddlers clean, dry, and healthy!" Thank you Diaper Bank of Minnesota!

We are so thankful to all our corporate partners who have assembled kits or held donation drives this summer. Recently, PRC Wind assembled an amazing 500 snack bags to distribute via YouthLink's food pantry and street outreach efforts. The youth have really appreciated having these ready-to-eat options in this summer heat wave.

We are incredibly proud to announce that our Senior Director of Programs, Shennika Sudduth, MA, was honored with the l'étoile du nord (Star of the North) award at the Minnesota United game on July 17th! 🎉This award honors Shennika's dedication to resilience, inclusivity, and passion in serving youth experiencing homelessness. Shennika’s commitment to serving youth in our community and embodiment of YouthLink’s guiding principles have been instrumental in driving our mission forward. 🌟 A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated towards the match! 🌟 With your incredible support, we surpassed our goal of 100 donors by June 30th and unlocked a $25,000 matching donation! 🎉   In total, 111 amazing people contributed $33,596, which, combined with the match, totals an incredible $58,596! 🙌   These funds will provide essential resources like hot meals, showers, and bus tokens, as well as long-term support such as case management, mental health care, and opportunities for education or employment.
