The Oakland/Bay Area Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women is committed to providing programs that increase the participation of African American women in economic, civic, entrepreneurial, and human service arenas of their respective communities through education, scholarship, and collaboration.

We are here to support the next generation of successful African American women.

The OAACCF, in partnership with its corresponding Advisory Council, has created a COVID-19 Resiliency Relief Program. The monies raised under this program will be made available as interest-free grant relief dollars for these businesses, adversely impacted by COVID-19, and under the Federal orders of S.I.P. (Shelter in Place).

Congress approved funding; however, hundreds of local small Black owned businesses did not receive financial support. Their recovery will be extremely difficult. LISC San Diego is guided by a Local Advisory Committee (LAC) of members from the civic and corporate communitiy. They open the doors to other key stakeholders who are involved in a site assessment process and then take the lead in raising local funds for a LISC program.

Their leadership and input will be a valued and critical component to strengthening LISC San Diego's role in revitalizing neighborhoods and providing affordable housing. While our name suggests an organization of Real Estate Brokers, it is a professional real estate organization which includes membership from multiple disciplines in the real estate industry. We welcome professionals in all areas of real estate to join us and help promote our mission.

Our national goal is to bring together the nation’s minority professionals in the real estate industry to promote the meaningful exchange of ideas about our business and how best to serve our clientele. We strive to create an environment where creativity flourishes in both the workplace and the marketplace.

To service our target market, we ensure training and educational opportunities are available to our entire membership across the many disciplines we represent, providing certifications and special designations in many areas of interest. Our ability to professionally service our client base is the foundation by which we operate.

Our organization was founded in 1947, making it the oldest minority professional trade association in America. It was formed out of a need to secure the right to equal housing opportunities regardless of race, creed, or color. Since its inception, we have participated in meaningful challenges and legislative activities, to establish fair housing for all.

NAREB is governed by a board of directors and an executive committee comprised of members and leaders in the industry from across America. Each local chapter continuously accepts new members to join and actively become community real estate leaders. We are currently updating features on our website including membership. OAACC was established in 2003. We are a private non-profit organization whose mission is to advance economic opportunity and strengthen Oakland’s Black business community.

We provide a number of services for our business associates and members including access to workshops, business development opportunities and advocacy. Members may also take advantage of business advising, notary and certificate of origin services.
