One example that sticks out the most in my mind is when she and I were given the task of soliciting in-kind donations for a service-based student organization. Specifically, we needed clothes donations for a fundraiser fashion show. Aisha created the marketing materials, describing the event, organizational purpose, and target audience; as we went from business to business, she successfully convinced store owners that it would be in their best interest to participate in our event. As a result of her efforts, we had more than enough clothes for all of our models and had a very successful show.”
