    A Mother’s Kiss is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization formed for the purpose of providing emotional and financial support to the families of childhood cancer patients in the Long Island area.

    Families currently undergoing the process need help in shouldering the financial burdens associated with treatment, such as:

    •Mortgage, rent, and utility bills.
    •Unpaid deductibles, co-pays, and medical bills.
    •Parking, fees, and transportation…

    •Parking, fees, and transportation costs.
    •Meals and lodging away from home.
    •The costs of private nursing and home care.
    •Certain household expenses
    •Funeral and burial expenses.
    •Plus many other expenses too numerous to mention….

    Aside from financial assistance and emotional support, we also provide diversional activities to the children and their families throughout the year. We celebrate with annual summer picnics, winter holiday parties, and holiday family sponsorships to help raise the family’s spirits. By working in partnership with area hospitals, volunteer organizations, caring corporations and individuals, we try to help these families enjoy a bit of normalcy in their lives.
