“Dharti and I worked together extensively at TiE NY, first as Co-Leads of the TiE NY Pitch Competition, then as fellow Board Members. When I was elected President of the chapter, she was elected Vice-President. I have been impressed by her accountable leadership, her diligent responsiveness, and her deliberate judgment. When given a specific task or area of responsibility, she does not promise what she cannot deliver and she delivers what she promises, holding herself answerable even as she demands and obtains the best performance from those around her. Dharti's counsel has been critical to the upward trend in the chapter's trajectory over the past year. She has been indefatigable in promoting the chapter to a wide variety of potential members and partners. We have benefited tremendously from her focus on women's entrepreneurship. She led the Shepreneur initiative in which we hosted a mentoring event for women that did much to promote the benefits of TiE membership to this constituency. This complemented her prior involvement with the promotion of entrepreneurship education for women in India. I would recommend her highly for any senior leadership position.”
