I co-produced this with the faculty of Parsons School for Design. Its name: The Foolish Corpse. This experiment was a collaboration between the Parsons Foundation and Illustration programs and was made possible through partnerships with Wacom and eROI. It is a live drawing event with rotating teams and three video projectors that create one scroll-like image in the Aronson gallery. Participants work on three Wacom Cintiq screen tablets and respond to each other as the images unfold. This… Mehr zeigen

This experiment was a collaboration between the Parsons Foundation and Illustration programs and was made possible through partnerships with Wacom and eROI. It is a live drawing event with rotating teams and three video projectors that create one scroll-like image in the Aronson gallery. Participants work on three Wacom Cintiq screen tablets and respond to each other as the images unfold. This unpredictable event, loosely based on the Surrealist parlor game the Exquisite Corpse, is further unhinged by musical and word cues lobbed at the artists like bad April Fools jokes. An additional group of artists draw simultaneously on Wacom Cintiq Intuos tablets uploading their work to a drop box as raw material for the project. Foolish Corpse is part of the Palimpsest exhibition. [When I talk about this project I must give proper credit to John Roach, working artist and faculty member at Parsons.
