“I had the honor and pleasure to work with Ege Akpinar and the Pointr team directly during the heart of C19 pandemic beginning in October of 2020. Our teams deployed Pointr BLE wayfinding / pathfinding technologies within the RE&S COI showcases (East Campus / Global Hardware Standards) and MSFT Digital team locations around Puget Sound locations. (Including Pointr software, physical BLE beacons, technologies, Azure compute / storage node, MSFT hardware / software SSPA / DSRE / Etc.) In the depths of the unknown of the 2020 / 2021 pandemic, Ege Akpinar and his team traveled onsite to Redmond, WA to Microsoft to deploy physical hardware sensors and Pointr onsite software demos in the East Campus COI showcase location. Ege and his team were consummate professionals and worked tirelessly with us overnights, over many days, during uncertain C19 conditions, to deliver real-world demo / retro of the Pointr technology working within a live customer environment. (Demos were recorded as well as delivered live to MSFT leadership,) Ege is a true leader from the front lines! He travels to his customers regularly (in a time where travel is still a daunting task) and deeply understands the requirement of the customer's business and how Pointr technologies and partnerships can benefit those customer's needs. Not only does Ege lead the organization "on the ground" from the front, but he also has deep, intimate technology of the Pointr stack as well as the technologies that complement / accompany it (Azure, AWS, Google, Etc.). This intimacy allows for deep contributions to all phases of the customer engagement cycle (including but not limited to) - sales, delivery, deployment, test, support, new feature ideation and beyond. I whole-heartedly recommend Ege Akpinar in any of the initiatives, verticals, and/or technology stacks in which he or his organization(s) is / are associated without hesitation!
