  • HealthPro: A Nutrition Supplement Shopping App

    - Present

    • Calculated daily common nutrition intake and daily cost of nutrition supplements, Provided image-based search and price comparison for hundreds of nutrition supplements.
    • Used Firebase as database and React Native as front-end, built RESTful API structure and published to IOS/Android.

  • Location-based Demand Prediction for NYC Uber Ride-sharing and Taxi Market

    • Built a machine learning model using Regression Trees with over 160 million rides dataset to predict location-based demand in NYC with R2 of 98.5%.
    • Processed data and trained model with Amazon AWS, studied mainly on historical NYC Uber/taxi pickup data and train features such as day of week and weather, used React.JS and GoogleMap API to develop front-end data visualization.
    • Improve resource allocation in rideshare market and user experience of drivers and customers.

  • One-stop Chemical Shopping Engine

    First one-stop site shopping for chemicals used for synthesis; Save up to 90% of time and cheaper cost.

    An io game of free world developed by Unity 3D.
    • Built a real-time multiplayer game with more sophisticated game features including game effects, multiple game behaviors/mechanisms comparing to Agar.io.
    • Designed and implemented enemy AI, level/experience system, player controller and collision events.
    • Achieved free space of movement, high degree of freedom, arena game mechanism with multiple players.

  • A Noise-tolerant Warehouse Planner for Robot using SLAM

    • Built a planner for robot to move and deliver box within an unknown warehouse with landmarks and collected map information by noisy sensors.
    • Localized the robot and mapped the environment by Simultaneously Localization and Mapping (SLAM) algorithm.
    • Successfully mapped the warehouse and delivered the box by tuning hyper-parameters in SLAM.
