The Army developed the SLS concept to enhance preparation of select leaders for service at the national level. The SLS course exposes attendees to the insights and perspectives of a wide variety of notable strategic-level speakers, ranging from senior Army officers and leaders of other federal agencies to accomplished academic scholars and professionals from think tanks and the media.
