Arts and Culture
Old Bethpage Restoration Village is home of over 100 acres preserving houses from the 19th Century. It is dedicated to the memory of Long Island as it was through the 19th Century. A small farm, a Village Square, General Store, Churches and homes are maintained and staffed by volunteers who dress in period costumes and explain the lifestyle and circumstances of the families and people who inhabited these times.
My part is to volunteer and play in exhibition games, following the rules…Old Bethpage Restoration Village is home of over 100 acres preserving houses from the 19th Century. My part is to volunteer and play in exhibition games, following the rules of 1864 Base Ball. This organization is resident to Old Bethpage Village Restoration and responsible for Vintage teams and leagues having been formed from Rhode Island to Ohio.
