Semester At Sea is a 100 day study abroad program that takes students on voyage around the world to learn about and experience a wide variety of cultures. Students take classes while on board the ship that primarily focus on the history, cultures and modern day issues of the countries and regions in which the ship will stop in. I was a part of the Fall 2004 voyage which began in Vancouver Canada and made stops in: Japan, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Tanzania, South Africa, Brazil, Venezuela returning to Fort Lauderdale Florida.

I would recommend the program to everyone one and know that you can attend at any age… I will be onboard again for a future voyage.
