Josh always - without fail - made me want to work hard because he -- himself -- believed in me. Even when I didn't believe in myself. If you have a strong team but are lacking the manager to help them realize it. Josh will -- assuradly -- activate this in your team. Surely, I can tell you, Josh is one of the best - if not *the* best manager I ever had. Whatever team acquires Josh will be getting so much more than just an employee or manager. You're getting one of the most efficient and wonderful human-beings on your side that you could ever ask for. I have literally nothing but the best things to say about this man. “Executive summary: I can’t recommend Josh highly enough. He’s a one-of-a-kind developer and leader. But here’s a little color… I worked with Josh for two years at Two Toasters and Ticketmaster Mobile Studio, first as his peer and then reporting to him. The experience was one of the best professional relationships of my career. Broadly, Josh is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and curious. He’s always trying to learn about new tools and techniques to be more effective. After learning them, he’s always eager to share that knowledge with the broader team so that they can benefit too. He’s also an excellent developer. He can tackle problems large and small, and gets things done quickly and correctly. His work is so well-architected and well-coded that I almost never had any comments for him in code review—and I always have comments! He’s also very adaptable: he can switch between platforms with ease and has broad knowledge across a lot of different APIs and languages.
