“John made a tremendous impact at Reebok over his career in varied roles. He is an outstanding marketer who has led all elements of marketing. As our marketing leader of the US, Reebok was named Footwear News’ Marketer of the Year. He has negotiated more deals and partnerships than anyone in the history of Reebok. He negotiated or oversaw literally hundreds of agreements including athletes, fitness partners, entertainers, various organizations and Allen Iverson’s lifetime contract which is still paying dividends. John was a “go to” guy. I always valued John’s willingness to take on complex and difficult tasks whether it was driving marketing, our global markets strategically or a new venture to connect with fitness trainers. I went to him when we moved to Boston. He negotiated our lease, advocated for great treatment from the City of Boston, executed on incredibly short timelines and kept employees motivated. He is a wonderfully collaborative colleague, leader and worker who will run through the wall to get results. I would not hesitate to recommend John for any executive/officer role.”
