  • Accelerometer Enabled Robotic Arm (HackUMass, Most Creative)

    Most Creative project at HackUMass 2014. Our team, Gray's Hackers, created a motion enabled control system for a 1982 Robotic Arm (Mini Mover 5). We created an interface to replace the malfunctioning processors that came with the Arm by directly interacting with their stepper motors. Furthermore, we used an accelerometer, gyroscope and force sensitive resistor to detect hand gestures and used these input to control the Robotic Arm.
