“I had the pleasure of working with Jay while we were both at VA Software/OSTG. Jay had two roles, the first as General Counsel for the group. His partnership was integral to the success of my team in helping us to craft deals that worked and protected both parties. The other role Jay filled was as GM of our SourceForge site. In that role, Jay was able to manage the team in transforming the site from a repository of bug reports and OS code to a well functioning media business. He was thoughtful and strategic in taking into consideration the needs of the developer community and the needs of the business. Jay was a valuable partner in not only listening to the commercial needs for my business development and marketing team, but matching those up to creating value for the OS community. Jay is someone I look up to and still leverage to this day as a valued resource for legal and business matters.”
