IAM Role Configuration: Implemented an AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) role that grants the Lambda function the necessary permissions to interact with EC2 instances. This IAM role was carefully designed to follow best practices for security and least privilege.

EC2 Instance Management: The Lambda function is programmed to stop an Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instance within the AWS account. This operation helps in managing EC2 costs and optimizing resource usage by automatically stopping instances at specified intervals.
