Alumni in the Bay Area & Across the World Coline Forde - Coline was born in Barbados, grew up in Connecticut, and moved to San Francisco in late 2014. She worked as a Translation and Localization Intern for a French app startup in Paris and as a Translator for Kiva. She's fluent in French and Spanish. As a developer, her primary stack is Ruby, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Rails, and SQL. She loves horseback riding, traveling, and Tae Kwon Do. Sepand (Sam) Assadi - Sam has lived in Cyprus while pursuing his computer science degree, then the UK, and now the US. He puts all of his determination and attention to detail into his work as a software developer. He's passionate about crafting beautiful and intuitive UI/UX to ensure the best possible user interactions. Bernice Chua - Bernice is an IT professional turned software developer and hackathon extraordinaire. Bernice codes in JavaScript, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, MySQL, SQLite3, HTML5, CSS. She is currently geeking out in React.js, Unity3D, and Android development. Due to her background in IT, she's super comfortable with Linux, bash, zsh, and networking. She's part of the Maker community as a teacher and mentor, and loves making funny robots with IoT sensors on Arduinos, going hiking, traveling, and doing photography. Timur Catakli - Front End Developer at Oracle Timur has developer many B2B software applications including extranets, flexible-time management systems, SaaS and an iOS app that achieved 12,000 free downloads in the first month with 50% retention rate by utilizing segmented social media ads, PR and growth hacking tactics. The app became the #1 free news reader in Turkey in 2 months, not to mention #2 in Bolivia, #5 in Madagascar, #9 in Azerbaijan and Algeria, #10 in El Salvador & Yemen.
