“I like Lissett. She is one of the most intriguing people that I have come across during the course of my career. She is a good person and a great woman! We had an instant connection, as we are both native Californians, and talked about the move to NYC at different times in our lives. Also with Lissett going to FDIM, I connected to her as I remembered walking past FIDM on numerous times about the time I was on a set in LA with Spike Lee, Ernest Dickerson (Sucka Free City) and there was this time at the Staples Center with Amerie. As James Thomas had discussions with me almost 20 years prior, I had the same sort of discussions with Lissett and I hope gave her a sense of encouragement. I knew she would go on to do something magnificent- which is why I brought her on to a project or two in the first place. Lastly, out of everyone that has assisted me, she is the only one who has made a conscious effort to remain in touch. That's a testament to this woman. Kudos Lissett”
