Melody continues to be an asset to the NISC contract and FAA AJG-R. Her attention to detail and pride in her work has made her a trusted advisor to her client. She is creative in her support and it does not go unnoticed. Melody uses industry research and historical client data she has captured while on the contract to create pitch decks for her events. These are presented to her client for their personalized selection of the style event they hope to achieve with cost savings and other innovative techniques incorporated into options. She delivers a hybrid method of events consisting of three cities who gather in-person and connect virtually with other colleagues around the country serving as a facilitator, host, script writer, promotions lead, and behind the scenes events director. She manages these events remotely as an on camera host and technical facilitator while simultaneously communicating with leadership, staff, and vendors through Zoom chat, MS Teams Chat, text messaging, phone calls, and email - WOW! Her client recently sent an email commending her leadership on the end of year celebration for the group. "The End of Year Celebration is very important to the leadership of AJG-R to be able to show their appreciation to our staff for the hard work they have done over the prior year. Melody came up with ideas for the meeting and worked with our leadership team to bring her ideas to fruition. This included planning and coordination of who would do what on October 5. We had a potluck lunch followed by a trivia contest hosted by an outside vendor, who did an excellent job. Both of the meetings were extraordinary successes as everything worked as planned, on schedule, and our staff enjoyed both greatly. Melody saw an area of improvement and took it upon herself to fill the gap by adding female instructors to the current all-male instructor list for the project.
