“Mike joined Milwaukee to transform the company's US Purchasing Function from an organization not meeting performance metrics with an understaffed group of buyers, into a world-class Team delivering results matching the company's Asia Purchasing Function. In less than 12 months, Mike & his new Team were doing this. Key to the turnaround were restructuring the function, recruiting talent and developing plans supporting both existing and new business groups within Milwaukee. While making significant organizational and cultural changes, Mike also stayed personally focused on several critical commodities and suppliers to insure cost improvements, on-time delivery performance and product quality met goals and commitments. This attention to detail enhanced Mike's recruiting, education and training efforts for his organization. Mike is a true professional capable of blending leadership and management qualities that make him a 'sought after' by those around him.
