At Overstock.com, GP was a strong leader of an IT development organization of close to 200 developers and testers. He met regularly with other members of senior management in the company, coordinated the schedules of over 30 development teams, oversaw and participated in hiring, and managed personnel issues. At the same time, however, he remained a domain expert on many of our key technologies. Even as he served as the Vice President of software development, he continued to be the expert on our logistics systems, possessing a deep understanding and insight into both its technical and business aspects.
