Trust, but verify. AI can make things up. Be aware of AI hallucinations that seem accurate - but upon review, are not correct. I like to think of AI as a very intelligent 5 year old. It can point you in the right direction, sometimes be 100% correct, but other times it lets its 'imagination' get the best of it. Use it as a tool; but don't automatically accept the results it provides.

Come prepared. Use LinkedIn, Google, one of the AIs, network, etc. to build an understanding of the organization and their current needs and challenges. Don't expect them to educate you about things you should already know. Come with a perspective that lets them know you are their partner not just their 'salesperson.' Validate with them sure, but do the advance work to let them know you have the knowledge and expertise to help them.

Ask, "can you see how this solution could help you in similar ways?" or, even better, "how does this align with your current situation and future goals?"
