• The AICPA is the world's largest association representing the accounting profession, with over 650,000 members in over 145 countries. It is the accreditation authority for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.
• As a member of the board, responsible for the governance and oversight of the strategic direction and risk management of the AICPA; acted as a liaison to state CPA societies; oversaw AICPA executive management.
• Selected to serve as an “At-Large Member” of the AICPA Governing Council because of national standing in the accounting career field.
• As a member of the Assurance Services Executive Committee, identified and prioritized emerging assurance trends and developed related assurance methodologies, performance guidance, tools, and criteria for CPAs performing assurance services.
• As the Chairman of the AICPA Regulatory/Legislative Assurance & Advisory Working Group, created alliances with industry, government, and other specialized groups to educate key decision-makers on emerging accounting and assurance trends to align legislation with existing terminology and standards. As the chairman (2017-2018) and member of the international board (2013 - 2019), responsible for the governance, control, oversight, and strategic direction of ISACA.
