Remember, it’s about the audience, not you. When we talk to friends, it’s simply about sharing, and we move and speak without thinking about it. Begin to treat your audiences as if they are your friends. Focus on them, and the funny ways we speak and use our body when we are nervous disappear. I find it helpful to find a few friendly faces in the audience that I can continue to go back to, to remember I’m talking to real people. Our responsibility it to help them and share with them.

I agree, and trust your heart, trust your gut. Everyone will tell you how to start your business, how to run your business, and everything else. All the answers are inside of you. Learn to access your own answers, and your growth will be unstoppable.

One of the hardest things in life is to show up and be ourselves. We’re actually trained not do that. (“Hey, look at that child on the playground. Can you do what they’re doing?”) We’re told to act like other people, to be like other people. We’re continually pushed away from who we actually. And, of course, we’re supposed to hide anything not perfect about ourselves. To stop all that and dare to be ourselves is one of the most courageous acts one can undertake. It takes both unlearning what we’ve been taught, followed by reconnecting to who we are, rediscovering what our most important values are, and working hard to bring those values into the world for the benefit of all.

In my experience, in order to enhance the clients relationship and leadership abilities, it’s most important for them understand their relationship with themselves. People who kind to themselves are kinder to others and make better, more inclusive, leaders. We all make mistakes, every day. So the question is what do we do with these mistakes. People who are forgiving of themselves and use mistakes to grow, are forgiving of others and can guide them to more growth. When looking to lead others or connect better with others, always look within first. You, and each person, has all the answers they need inside of themselves.

Honesty. It’s the only way to “ace” it. If you’re trying to ace it by pretending to have a behavior you don’t have, it’s not going to work. Being you, behaving as you, and fully owning who you are is the only way. Kindness goes a long as well when it comes to behavior.

In my experience, there nothing more important than a Self Love practice. When you practice self love, or perhaps self compassion, or simply self friendliness, you re-wire your brain with pathways of acceptance. At its core, imposter syndrome is not accepting ourselves as we are. Believing that someone else is better than we are, and we are not good enough. When we begin to accept ourselves as we are, using a self love practice, imposter syndrome dissolves away.
