Why is it important to choose a vendor with experience in your industry?
Many industry verticals have unique terms and ontologies, these can increase knowledge stovepipes that aid in the industry vertical. Visions, dreams, and new thinking is often limited by those very same ontologies which can limit breakout thinking. This is not an axiom, just an opinion.

Why is it important to choose a vendor with experience in your industry?
Though this is mostly the case for intra-industry growth and problem solving, it may not be sufficient if you are seeking to break out of industry norms or breaking down barriers to address business opportunities in other industry sectors. In some cases the same “tried and true” knowledge may prevent you from delivering an industry disrupter.
