The Recruitment Administrator (“Administrator”) will join the Legal Recruitment team, and broader People team, to support the administrative function of recruiting, hiring, and onboarding legal talent at Brown Rudnick.


The Administrator must be well-organized, detail-oriented and possess a willingness to learn new concepts. The Administrator should have the ability to work independently and across multi-disciplinary teams. The Administrator must demonstrate ease in navigating a fast-paced environment with a professional demeanor. Additionally, the Administrator must possess exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external clients. The primary responsibilities, qualifications, and capabilities for this role include the following:


Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the Recruitment Managers to understand staffing needs and recruitment development plans.
  • Establishes and builds relationships with internal stakeholders, external recruiters, advisors and candidates.
  • Support all aspects of the legal recruitment life-cycle – process candidate materials, schedule interviews, internal and external correspondence, collect feedback, assist with offer process, create new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • In conjunction with the Recruitment Managers, coordinate all aspects of the summer program – plan trainings and events, organize logistics, serve as a main point of contact and resource for summer associates, attend events as appropriate.
  • Facilitates student recruitment efforts – manage candidate life cycle, strategize academic year sponsorships and events, maintain relationships with target law schools.
  • Maintains and updates Legal Recruitment email account, applicant tracking system, fee agreements, and other recurring reporting documents.
  • Conducts basic research, which includes collecting and analyzing data and summarizing findings.
  • Contributes to developing and producing recruitment marketing materials.
  • Maintain the Firm’s digital career page and facilitate any external advertising.
  • General administrative duties, including but not limited to: expense and invoice reimbursements, conference room bookings, scheduling and calendar management.


Qualifications

  • At least five years of administrative experience supporting a high-functioning department in a professional service industry.
  • Preferable experience in attorney recruiting, talent management or other human resources related discipline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to handle urgent and time sensitive matters; working under tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong project management skills; organized, efficient, responsive, detail-orientated, delivers high-quality work product.
  • Excellent relationship building skills; team oriented, reliable, committed to collaboration.
  • Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, especially during periods of increased activity, such as summer program and law student recruiting.
  • Ability to travel, as required.

Salary range based on experience level and location is estimated to be in the range of $55,000-70,000.
